Author Topic: Haro Vector bars - different decal positions!! help (Read 8415 times)

I just got my Haro vector bars back from the chromers and I've been looking at various builds on here and on other bmx sites only to notice there doesnt seem to be a correct way of putting the Vector decals on... Some bars have the signature decal on the right side & vector decal on the left (from the riders position) and others vice versa

Has anyone got an original set of decals still on the bars so I can see which goes where and what way up they go

Or any one got a scan of an original advert for the Haro Vector Bars?

Pics would be gratefull!

Hi i have noticed the same thing not only on vector bars but other makes to, sig on right and and brand on left

mine bitd had the 13 mm bolt or was it 12 mm

I remember now. They renamed them to Unlimited bars after Bob Haro was no longer riding them. So these came with an unlimited sticker but it was just put over the top of the Bob Haro sticker, so I just took the Unlimited sticker off and 'Hey Presto!'

If thats the original bolt it will have splined (knurling) on the shaft, 1st gen have a plain stem shaft

i have some copy bars, and the angle is too far back when inserted into the forks,almost the same angle as the forks themselves, looks completely wrong

Yes the shaft has knurling on it all the way down.

I have both pairs by the way. 1st gen (NOS) and a well used pair of 'unlimitied' ones. My 'unlimited' ones don't have the unlimted decal anyway

The NOS ones are buried deep in my heap of gear in the loft. I'll try and dig them out this weekend

I love this Gen 1, its the one that's my inspiration for my build

If you got these off Biagio i wouldnt be suprised if he stuck on his own decals, I have a pic somewhere of some NOS vectors from the states and the decals are the other way round to yours although I think they look better your way.
I'm off to trawl through some Old mags and see if i can find a vector magazine advert.

If I get it wrong I'll just run some more decals off

right you fookers just had to get my NOS gen 1 bars out and looking at the front of the bars, the haro decals is on the left and vector on the right both facing the front

that means yours are completely opposite to the ones steve just posted up

I know Biagio does the decals but with them having the Unlimited decal on with the Bob Haro one underneath and the warranty card on I reckon they are the real deal decals(hopefully)
