Well finally finished! Just got the Cal Lite frame pad from the states, so we're done now. Thanks to all that have helped - you know who you are - it is very much appreciated. I'm really chuffed.

Thanks Tefore - I agree with you on the brake pads...I'm waiting for some original shape white pads to turn up...no doubt they will when I'm not looking! In the meantime, I'll never ride the bike so I won't mark my tuffs with those horrid orange things!

Cheers mate - I definately won't be selling it again!  ;)

Thanks Dave! Contact a seller called 'jacintot123' on the US ebay - he had a few stem pads when I bought from him...

I had it bead blasted and two-pack acrylic sprayed for £75 (frame, forks and bars)...so not bad at all!

A guy just outside High Wycombe did it. He does loads of bikes and was recommended by Quadrophenia.

The two-pack acrylic finish is a bit deeper and more shiny than powder coating, but not quite as strong.

Have you got contact details for the guy in High Wycombe as I have a Hutch in similar condition that I want blasted and rechromed.
