Guys, I want to get together a white Fiola GT Pro Performer replica bike (yes got another frame / forks coming...

) but want to know what the spec was for this bike?

I have a few parts which he used on that bike:

- NOS Black GT Mallet Stem
- White Epoc GT Headset
- Black GT seat clamp
- Dyno fork standers
- White GT layback

Bits I see in this photo below are:

- Black AME Rounds
- Black tuffs (just sold mine, doh!)
- White MX1000 + Tech 4 levers?
- Are they GT pedals? I think GT?
- Can't see the seat?

Has anyone got a decent side photo of Fiola's white GT? Maybe too hard to get together exactly but i'll have a go over the next couple few months as well as my other 4 builds (its getting to be too much)... although would be nice to have this white beast done for Christmas

They are DX pedals.

Unsure on the brake levers - I imagine Tech 4's as it was 85.

Seat? Who knows?! He rode all sorts...could be a GT cycle pro/jaguar thingy or a Kashi aero.

I was gonna do this bike Matt.

Pete Quad has more pics but he is away.

Cant remember the parts. The MX1000's in white put me off. Cant believe i sold mine ages ago!

Im doing a white 84 performer with rims and blue parts at the mo.

Seems everyone is doing a white one.

I ot mine back from SBD's today. That boy can paint!

Yeah I am interested in doing this bike, the white ones I've always loved but I have seen one with black tuffs and another with black z's, both of those with fiola riding. I may opt for the z's version as it will be something different as mainly all my builds have tuffs. Would be interested to see the version with the z's though....

Will wack mine up to Dan's next week hopefully

Here's another pic, they look like the version he had with Z's but not 100% on that, also this time got white pedals (look like MKS or KKT / SR?) and definately a white seat of some sort....

Just wish I could see that bike in more detail!

This is as hi res as I could get it to fit on a regular image host. If you need it bigger and un-cropped let me know and I'll sort something out.

In my opinion they're way too skinny for Z's and the rear looks like it's got shine side.

dont quote on this but I think the white parts are the same as his white parts on his red tour bike. there's a vid of him on youtube on Wacaday.

I just looked at my scan full size again and it looks to me as if he's running white forks and a chrome frame in that pic. $:-\$

Although I seem to remember his bike being more like the top image that I put up. I sort of remember that from a morning show all those years ago. I think in hindsight this maybe too difficult to achieve but i'll have a go at a very close fiola rep with what's here and what I remember also and I do remember Z's, as it was the printing on the side of the z's that stuck in my mind and since then i've always wanted a pair

I had a flick through my mags and found these pics also. None with z's though

You might want to see if there's any pics of him in BMX Action Bike issues 28 & 29, I haven't got those ones but in issue 27 he's on the yellow bike and in 30 he's on the white one. Also in the scan of the article below there's a bit about when & why he went for the white bike.

Definately remember him doing stuff with z's on and that was a black and white bike too.

I think i'll try and get something close to it. Stil unsure about that seat though... looks like a GT seat?
