did they used to do burners that came with slightly different parts? I had an ultra burner that didn't seem exactly like that one, also a night burner that came with white mags from new?

Yeah they made alot of different variations.

as for Conways, ive just bought another ultra burner and it has a sticker on it saying it was bought from conway cycles, ill have to go down there and have a talk with the owner

Lovely resto, I had the silver/blue one bitd, changed absolutely everything on it, as you did then.

Yeah ive got a set of similar pedals SR ones, i was riding jumps on the weekend and i went straight over the handlebars, CW aswell, and the pedal went straight off my shin, still hurting
