What rocked was winning the Rad Bmx Mods & Admin Bike Of The Show Tophy for my Profile Prostyler and watching my 7 year old son Josh racing for the first time on Sunday, it was great to put faces to names and catch up with some people I already new

What sucked was the rain on Sunday and clearing up

Rocked:
The crew that make this happen - Stodgy, Mattdub, Pickle, Ratty & Mrs, the Mic Guy, philbert for building a ramp, MK BMX Club, the guy on the start gate etc etc
The effort guys make with their show bikes... live & learn
Getting a Highly Commended for my Kuwahara Champion in Mid School race!
The medics for helping out my lad after his big slam in 10-14 finals
But esp for meeting Good People!

Rocked: Meeting everyone, the campfire, Steve wilson Slogan competition

, Racing (Awsome work Nikki and all involved), Pickles Rolo Brownies! Yum Yum, Seeing the massive display of bikes (Especially Steve's Firebird stuff), Hootski for lending me a Bike so i didnt have to pull out of the racing (Gasshead wouldnt have let me anyway!) And especially Joe and Debs for putting up with me hanging around and feeding me!

Sucked: The rain, My own Fitness (Never realised how hard it was to ride round a track!)

Massive thanks and appreciation go out to the RAD team who organised it all.

For me, everything!
(MK Virgin, & had no expectations)
My Son & his 3 mates smiling all day long, & saying thank you when we eventually got back to Bmth.
Meeting Sawzall, & him telling me my frame was worth doing.
(Mind you, I could put this under Sucked, as now I have to do it - & I haven't got a clue what i'm doing)
Getting the insiration to restore my childhood BMX - watch out MK10

SUCKED: -
Only finding this site a couple of weeks ago, & not really knowing too much, inc. faces etc.....
Plus every bike I liked seemed not to get a mention

Also, not knowing how to reply - lol

what rocked : the moderators and owners who did all the work in the background and made this the best mk ever
what rocked: me getting thru to the quarters finals to be beaten by a few inches on the line
what rocked: ratty and nikki cool guys ,great effort on the race sheets and good laugh to boot
what rocked #: hotel room that was nice and warm and cosy with shower and breakfast next morning

crap: weather
crap:the drive home in crap weather and 50 mile per hour roadworks on motorway
crap:gettin up this morning to realise its work and the most anticipated weekend of the year was finally over

Going Corby on friday to kick off the weekend...

Staying upright on the track all weekend and managing to make the C final.... sorry Greg
Spending the weekend with Paul (snav69) and his lad... an all round top bloke! cheers Paul...

Meeting new peeps and putting faces to names.... too many to list but thanks to everyone we met/spoke to over the weekend
The A final being won by a fellow nothern monkey... congrats Bof...

The event itself... big thanks and much love to all involved...

WHAT SUCKED

Realising today its a year till the next one...

Leaving my lid hung on my bars out in the rain and doing the last 2 races with a soggy lid... lol

the fastest won matey had superb weekend and was racing better than ever before.i really was very happy getting thru to the quarters for sure .you just pipped me by few mm .ive never seen anyone so gutted that they got thru and had to race again lol

My 10 year old raced in 10-14 and had a great time, made the final, youngest in the class, fell off but enjoyed himself

and my 9 year old who won Sunday in 9 & Under raced and won that class 2 years ago against older kids, just chuck him in and let him enjoy the FUN racing that is MK

The reason behind the age ruling is so that it follows BCF rules, there have been some issues over the years regarding people not being in correct age groups so a clear definition was required to avoid any altercations
