1982 Silver Streak
« on: October 04, 2009, 01:33 PM »
Here's my pretty much complete NOS spec 1982 Silver Streak I've just about finished, even down the the IRC innertubes. This has been built based on the official literature, though there are a couple of items that I will change if and when they come up.

The only items that are not 100% NOS or offical spec are the seatpost (unbranded), chain (Izumi) stem (not NOS)and repro padset.

Oh and I'll be adding a front 890 when I find another NOS one.:)

I managed to prise the tyres off a member on here, thanks and you know who you are (now just the DID chain)  :LolLolLolLol:

Cheers for the comments guys,

Voodoo, you referring to this one?

Neil, it seemed a shame for the frameset to just sit there when it opitomises old school DB for me so she had to get built.

Deffo wont be building anymore; and as for this one, a no hoper for finding NOS parts but a lovely project for someone :LolLolLolLol:
