by chance i am building up my 96 rl240. when i first had that bike in 96 i had it set up a lot like yours.
the xposure kneesavers (the early type like yours), the same gyro cover, and i even had some pegs like that. are they threaded?
although the 240 was only main tubes chromo it was such a nice bike to ride.

They are un-threaded mongoose pegs, It did have the ribbed threaded Xposure pegs on it but I sold them with another bike :-\
It is a very nice bike to ride, as you can probally tell by the seat and the height of the post it was my daily ride rather than a proper freestyle machine... for that very reason (well and it didnt want it to become a dented scratched old beater like my other bmx's had became lol).

silentpartner I must of got the wrong end of the stick :-[ If your thinking of adding a RL240 to your collection id go for the '93/94. The frame on those slightly earlier bikes was sexier imo :bondage:
