Got nothing but total respect and admiration for the builds you see on here but alot of em do conform to using the relatively small desirable parts bin. When mods are done to the beautiful quality Darren has done it only enhances the world we call bmx.

i've got to ask, why didn't you just use pitbull brakes? more's the point. if you want a new school bike with old school looks, get some tubing and get on the mandrel/saw/etc and make your own with modern geometry and the old design. piece of piss for a one off.

Using a pitbull would be easy and boring , and yes i'm also looking at building a new school bike with old school looks , i can get the tubing off one of my suppliers and i've already spoken with the laser cutters i use
