Finding the frame is not the hardest, it's the parts that are hard and if you want to build an era correct pft or team model, for example, last pair of Ame grips went for almost 200, pedals £100 + crank £250 +, chain disc £70 +, hubs 150+, brake levers £120+, the list is endless

me too! im tighter than a duckling's arse thats why the only era correct parts on my bike will be the frame/forks

I didn't pay that much and I've got 5 pairs.tery Wildon can back me up I sent him the link last week, they are the most rare Ame grips, there called Ame rounds but have no flange like Ame tris

that's what i'd be doing, just building it up with nos and restored parts that would have been the parts I would have bought back in the day.
just finishing building my '86 pro performer using most of my old components and a set of new tuffs!
Costa, you have a lot of awesome bikes, but builds like that would be wasted on me as I would end up riding/battering them!
