Jim picked me this up STEREO ELECTRO 2011 for £250 was £469 new - it's as clean as you like and has a fecking sweet colour - rides sweet and hopefully you can have a go on the London ride  :daumenhoch:

I would get a NS mate - you've been in the game long enough to have it all and try it all - so ! it won't be ridden that hard ~ who cares - old men drive Ferrari's and still enjoy them

shop around Matt - there are loads about but you just have to learn what is good from bad  :daumenhoch:

Matt I think you should leave it on the back burner until the London ride and then borrow bendys one for a bit. At least you can see what it is like to ride a new school.  :daumenhoch:

That's if he has the fookin brake sorted by then!!  :-X :LolLolLolLol:

What TT and head angle did you go for in the end Matt?

Or was it pretty.......... ;-)

I want to see you doing some tricks now on this London ride. Not the kind of trucks you offered me at MK the other year when you were pissed either, I had no idea how low you were prepared to go just for a NOS brake cable nipple........

Pics please - what did you buy?
Still limping......

Haha, quite happy to go low for a nipple you know me   ;D

Got a 2011 Subrosa Tiro, nicked it on the bay for £103, didn't think that price was too bad, got some decent parts on it also, read a few reviews thought that one might be a good start. Pics from tomorrow after I collect it  :)

Matt i've seen you ride mate. I suggest you offer to double to price if they still have the chainguard for your own safety...... Do your laces come undone still, or has your mom bought you velcro trainers now?

;-D

it could be worst, you could be like Adam and need a wheel chair at the end of the night  ;D

we still have a law that says it needs a chain guard and reflectors  ::)  they get taken off nearly every bike - what a waste of money just to be thrown away - nice one LAW  :crazy2:

gonna look sweet Mat - get some ride time on it before hand  ;)

Picked it up last night, condition is ok, not amazing but I didn't expect that for £100. I'm gonna switch over a few bits, it needs new grips, new tyres, and a t-cut over the paintwork too. Intend to take it out a bit next week to get used to it. First thing I noticed is how light it was and that's what i'm after :)

Glen, sorry Rich - have you still got your NS ramp rider as you've been conspicuous by your absence this year with your Suspect brothers. We were actually wondering if you may need to reapply for membership.......

Anyway, it gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling when I see all my young ramp padwans giving each other advice. My work here on planet Earth is done ;-)

Here it is, my Subby I bought for £100. I've spent an extra £85 on it, new rear Primo wheel, New Grips, New Pedals, New Seat post, Timber Verde seat, New Izumi chain and new Xposure Dave tyres, I love the brown parts in new school so couldn't resist! I had a mate give me some Verde bars with better rise, just need to get them powdered and his a bike technician so checked it overall and thought it was good for the money. She rides lovely, total change from my 90's haro sport, with the Primo wheel just seems so smooth!

Seat post is high I know but feck am I riding it low down, I need my knees for footy lol.

Matt  ;)
