I already had a set of these hard to find NOS Michellin Hi-Lite tyres in 1.5 size which I got from Khaled so when I found the same tyres in NOS condition in the box but size 1.75 I was all over them. Two sets of NOS rare fat / thin tyres.

I didn't even think they came in 1.75 so well pleased when I found them.

Swapped my Sun rims for some Peregrine ones.

Cable tied the spokes together where they crossed over...

took out all the nipples...

swapped rims...

eased all the spokes back in t'holes...

put back all the nipples...

Sorted.

Nice one Ed. I knew you'd listen to my dumb-assed ideas for quick wheel-building eventually..... Built a Front wheel from scratch myself last night but got 2 to swap the rims over later this weekend......

Lol....you do get the wierdo's every now and again. The worst I ever bought from was over in lozells at 11pm on my own,got faced with a gang of them in a semi tower block...ive never clenched my fists so tight mate just incase it kicked off lol.

Firstly a proper nipple twister bought cheap ones in the past as i always loose em but bought a good one, fook me what a difference, built and trued a wheel up n me thumbs don't even hurt, fit me nipples like a glove too

i remember taking my first tire off at about the age of 5 , obviously the old man helped me out , fixed a puncture on my Tomahawk back wheel still recall being fascinated by the way you had to do things , so after 37 years i've finally got a set of tire levers , i'm fookin chuffed to bits with em
