wouldnt have thought you could spread a clamp that far without it snapping, but i guess anything is possible.....
yep the repair would be well worth it given the rarity of this frame, i had the whole seat tube replaced in a frame by Phil for that exact reason, as for the wheels, yep era wise they are right but 1.5s dont make the money 1.75s do and these need a refurb/relace as well.
like i said i hope who ever gets it does it justice, would like it myself but its out of my price range at the moment

Amazing how a persons naivety can draw out the worst in others...

Even with a damaged seat tube it's worth a big money... as for getting it chromed, put the crack pipe down and step away from the Visa card

It's JMC AP: 333 made, top of the tree quality, rare as funk.

+1 ^^^^^^^ Bren and Christian have got it spot on. JMC's plough out good money for the seller, they're in the elite of framesets. Repairs are easy if you know the right people and that's IF this needs repairing.

Class frameset that demands a class price.

But this is good news if you are building a bike 1984 onwards , because like we said they are era correct

The thing is the same goes for Tech IV levers, they're 84 on

and at least half the price of a Tech III

If you went back to 1984 and had 1.75's and Tech III's on your ride you'd snap someones hand off to swap for a new set of Tech IV and 1.5's

That's the wheels and brakes on the AP

I still can't justify that Elina UL on the JMC though

I got the AP. the frame is fine. There are no cracks to the seat post.. the thread has gone though hence the reason it had another clamp on it... an easy fix.

Can anyone shed any light on the bars? 9" high x 27.5" wide
