Couple more... all of the q.pipe pics were in a town called Linlithgow that 99% of you probably won't even have heard of. The track in the lovely setting is Falkirk.
Looking at these pics now I can't believe how often I changed the bits on my bike. I don't remember buying half that stuff.... ???

I know Linlithgow....in fact in 1985 when we moved from Aberdeen to Dunfermline, we did some house hunting in L'gow, Falkirk, Kincardine etc. My Dad was moving to work at Kincardine Power Station. Anyway while in Linlithgow, i spotted a quarter-pipe just off what i thought was the main street in town....and decided there and then that that was where we should move to.
The BMX scene did not sway my parents and we moved to Dunfermline....which worked out after all.
And now my wifes parents live in Bonnybridge so am back in that area quite a bit
Great pics though
Is that a Kappa jacket as well.....wicked...we wore them as well.
Cheers
Fraser
