A)  ....some 'evidence' hinting toward zippo
98 Ultra
http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=323468
"This is on my '98 Ultra..."        KH...

97 Zippo
http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/haro/23459
"Serial: HR-K6K very late 1996 build date, 1997 model. First model year for the Zippo.

B)
on the other hand the description of your bike on ebay sounds...... believable.... concerning the "also included original Haro ultra forks." .....? Let's see...

i dunno what the forks ON the bike now are........... if they turn out to be of a ultra/master/zippo ....i'd say the seller just added the fusion v brake forks.
If the turn out to be "m7 flatland" as seller says...... i guess the fusion v brake forks are original.

THree ways to find out what's the deal:
a) pm different owners of ultras nad zippos and ask kindly for serials
b) incase you wanna strip and paint the frame: THink a file would slide off cromo. (if there were a spot w/o chrome where you could test & w/o using pressure). Also heard that chromo 'dings' when you thump it.
[=> early zippo would be all hi-ten, ...ultras always full chromoly .... see following link:]

Just some info on the Ultra: http://www.vintagebmx.com/community/lofiversion/index.php/t27006251.html
(open via google cache incase log in issues)

c) Maybe the frame aint chrome underneath the paint -> forks then added

tenacity :slayer:

oh, and might wanna post in the "mid school haro" thread as well, as many experts there
