DP Firebird Freestyler - restoration project

<< < (6/8) > >>

pickle:
While they look cool as fook, I thought they were one of the worst riding things ever!  that head angle was just all manner of wrong  :crazy2:

griff:
nice to see this bumped - Mr Morgan are you coming to MK this year???

ABMorgan:
If it's the same date as last year, I am afraid I will be away. Is it the August bank holiday again?

I am aiming however to have the bike done by then. As said, had a bit of a let down with some promises but now seem to be back on track and going for the chroming.... Frame, Forks, Seat post and probably handle bars although am tempted to get them powdered.....

Still need some opinions on re-anodising too. Is it worth it on the sprocket, brakes etc to keep the bike as original as possible?

griff:
it's on 20-21 August ;)

Jay Reich might be able to help you out with anodising stuff - you'll find her fastest on FB (Jay Reich)

ABMorgan:
Cheers - just looked at some of her work - great stuff.

So it sounds like this is a good plan on a restoration and people are doing it - As you can probably see, I am new to this  :)
