Thought i would big myself up just a little,

heres the final cruiser race of the national season. http://www.bmx-race.co.uk/Chesterfield_2006_Main.htm click on 40+ cruiser A final

I had to win it to secure the 40+ oldies cruiser title.

My competition ended up being the old pro himself Tony Slater not from Adie (although he never gives up).

Tony gave a bloody great race. Well done Tony. You looked fast all day.

Shaun Calvert had a bad crash but thankfully is okay.

So the old pro freestyler got the win from the old pro racer. It was close though.

Iam dead proud to have won it for Alansbmx.com on his 25th year in business and it being 25 years since i was last sponsored by the team and 25 years since Ruffell beat me to the number 1 plate in the 15 year old age group!!

Now lets have Eric Rupe in the worlds!!!

well done sun top bit of racing there them jumps look massive compared to they old days
i spoke to dean scott webbs dad yesterday im going over saturday to meet debbie jason and dean again for the first
time in years and i will show him this vid ,gonna try to get them lot back into racing.

do u still ride freestyle or just the racing now .did you judge a pontins freestyle comp back in 85
where pepe winder jumped a car and bent his cranks or was that someone else.i think u was sitting up hi on a veranda.

Yeah mate i did judge that comp,Think it was me and Andy Preston. I still ride freestlye and race. Mainly racing at the minute. but i have a Tj Lavin dirt bike a 20" and a cruiser cheers Mike

ye it was andy preston with u you sat on deck chairs up on the roof part up high .the 1/4 pipe was over vert as it was sat on the car park that was on a rise.i hooked my back wheel and blew my z rim throw my tube and hangled me hub to ,i raced the same bike all weekend ,those where the days one bike for all

That sounds like a good idea...can someone point me in the right direction for dates etc...
