Loving this thread mate, it's a lot more than just buying parts and slapping them on. Top work. :4_17_5:

Right then..
Time to build this puppy.. fistblump
The final part arrived the pad set from Steve (Cracking job mate)..
Here is a pic of the parts to complete this build..
I have stripped and refurbish most of the bits and now the best bit ... :coolsmiley:
assembly . :slayer:
Well.
made a start today fitting the tioga beartap 11 headset and suntour headlock..
To be honest I was having a nightmare fitting the bottom bearing shell which fits onto the forks..
It just would not fit.
I heated the part and again it just would not fit..
In the end I took the part of a set of Haro master forks and tried that.
At first it would not fit as I needed something solid to fit over the forks threads but wide enough to fit the bearing shell..
I the end had a brainwave (A first for me ::) ) I took one of the supporting legs of my bike building stand and a rubber mallet and a few taps it was in..
then called it a day.. :daumenhoch:

Really looking forward to this Ady! 3 seatclamps is a bit overkill....one should be sufficient!!! :LolLolLolLol:

Well..
One I bought cheap which was damaged due to someone over-tightening and just needed the bolt..
The second I bought was a bit faded and wasn't happy with.. ::)
The third is the one I used which needed a bolt..

It's gonna look brilliant ... Great attention to detail will make this build very special :daumenhoch:
