GT Performer Build Part 1 - my run around.
Del:
Looking at the 88 and 89 GT catalogues this is either a Performer or Vertigo (the jury is still out on that one). Originaly I bought this F&F intending to build a show bike but when it arrived it had a couple of very minor dents so decided to chuck whatever spare/unused parts I had lying around and came up with this. I know the bars dont go and the brake cables are different colour but I didnt want to spend anything more on this one as it'll only be used for blasting around the block and to the shops. One thing I'm particulary pleased with are the brakes, they were a well used pair but with a bit of nitromors, sanding and spraying they came out like NOS (I couldnt be bothered painting the levers after I stripped them).
Anyway I'm quite pleased with my spare parts build. Feel free to comment as usual and no prizes for guessing what my next build is (part 2) ;)
Oh and nothing is for sale GTBMX so go do one. :P

My Performer bitd was the colour of your bars........ Vietnam flashbacks! Had a master mk1 and a trickstar after but my fondest bmx memories are of that performer before some tw*t nicked it. Nicely nicely Del......opening up old mental wounds :-[
