So the year is 1981,I'm sixteen & still heavily into skateboarding and only aware of the upcoming phenomenon that is BMX through reading Trials & Motocross News....
Until I bump into a neighbourhood kid riding a red Sentinel Scorpion TX with yellow Skyways. I COULD NOT believe my eyes. fat/skinny tyres, mag wheels,Kashimax MX seat,Tange TX1200 forks and a mangalloy frame. I had to have one.
Two weeks later and I get a phone call from my older brother that worked on Deansgate in Manchester, where all the motobike dealers were. In the window of ACE Motocycles was a blue & yellow Scorpion SX complete with a Suntour Holeshot derailleur,
on sale for £99. I had to have it! I had £100 in premium bonds and to my total surprise my parents agreed to let me cash 'em in.

What's the first thing you do when the bike's taken out of the van? You stick your brother's Bell Moto 3 on and see how she handles!
