I saw that gen 1 when it was being sold, then the guy put up some pics of him riding it way back. The bike was exactly the same! It was so cool. It really made me sad that he was selling it. I dont know the guy but it was almost like he was selling the photos of his youth. He cant have needed the money or the space that bad!

i like the best of both worlds. At MK this year we had them all; the show and shine bikes restored or NOS plus all the NOS parts about looking like an 80's bike shop but with the untold survivors and semi restored riders laying about covered in track dirt it looked like any track or trails would have. i just love milling about soaking in all that nostalga :daumenhoch:
I'd hate to see all the mingėrs restored as much as i'd hate to see all the NOS and restored bikes used and abused. The balance looks about right from where i'm sitting :)
