I think the ramp has a lot to do with it. Some are much easier to air on than others.
My fav ramp is the 8 foot 1/4 pipe at Skaterham. Its just the right size for me, and has a nice feel to it, and 3-4 foot airs are easy to pull. Unfortunately, they put a bloody great jump box in front of it, which im useless at, so its kinda spoilt it a bit for me.
The 11 foot half pipe they have i seem to have a bit of a mental block on. Im lucky if i can get 2 or 3 inches out of it. I know i can do it, but something just holds me back. fear of breaking myself in bits i guess ! 8)
The small 6 footer at Rom is another fun ramp. Air is practically compulsory on it. You dont need any speed at all to get out.

One good thing about any Aerials is that you are gauranteed to land everytime.....

Ride a 8ft ramp for a while before you go to a big 13ft ramp....
