A word of advice from and old man; you gotta keep looking good even (or especially) when slamming ;D ;D ;D
Personally, I like to finish a hard slam with a few pressups or occasionally a puzzled look toward my bike or riding buddies :D You've got to get rid of that crawling away on all fours thing - you look like a beaten dog! ;D

that's the billy i met last year.... all i ever saw for the first four months of knowing him was slamming 360's over spines / volcanos. i thought maybe he's trying something beyond him as he was spinning okay, but his landings were so far off. however, he persevered with it and once he got it, he has gone from strength to strength. i can't imagine him taking as long as that anymore to learn something. the 360 spine is the trick that has broken the barrier for him. best of luck for the future! :daumenhoch:
