This one's got a very special place in my heart as I bought it new and it's been in storage since I hung it up in 86. In fact it still had the grip tape on it and if you look carefully I taped over the GT roundal to stop my foot rubbing it on cherry-pickers.

Wasn't too bad, but I hit it hard with the Auto Glym Chrome cleaner...





... and hey presto.





Still, as Radman and Biagio can vouch, I'm the ultimate perfectionist (anally retentive I think the phrase was) so I'm afraid it's now boxed and waiting to go off to the rechromers.

No!! keep it with the original chrome - you can never get it back to original if you re-chrome it.
