No praises or anything - just a good heckling! If you don't feel comfortable getting that familiar with the guy, just put it on me:

"Hey, Drob said on RADBMX that you were giving away free shirts. Can I have 10? Oh, Happy Birthday too..."

You know, something like that... Ha.

No, write whatever you feel like, call up there, FAX, write him something, whatever. He'll get a kick out of it and it's the big 40.

Maurice's email is on his profile.  maurice_meyer@hotmail.com

Carlo. I know its not cool, but will you take some photos when you meet up with Ron, Scott and Hugo and post them up on the site for us?

Maurice Meyer:
Carlo, just sent you a note with some contact info.  Man, I didn't know Ron got married!  That's crazy...  Didn't even give me a chance to get him back for the wacky wedding present he gave me!

So, here's what I sent to him for his birthday - meant to be an idea for his add.  As everyone probably knows: Ron's signature trick back in the day was the "WilkerWhip" - half boomerang to half tailwhip.  His "crab ladder"... Ha!

I sent Ron an email also .

I also sent this pic I took from my sponsor's shop bitd of him , Blyther & a good friend of mine bitd called Jeremy Fox . Jeremy started Death Box skateboards in the UK which sadly suffered a big flood of its business premises & the business did'nt survive.

In the pic Jeremy is holding a "Sly Fox" seatclamp which were a COOL accessory bitd (I used to run Sly Fox products & Sly Fox and Death Box decals on my bikes & plates) , both Ron & Brian were given one. Jeremy went on to greater things after Death Box , he went to  the US & started a small skateboard company known by the name of FLIP ! .

I got a very cool email from Ron this morning also ! (he even mentions running the Sly Fox clamp as his "lucky clamp" until he lost the bike in San Diego bay while filming a Haro Video ! )  he says "Bob told me my bike did'nt need a bouy on it !" .

Matt
