if you've ever tried to lift one these bikes up, the more you have to stop it the better

think it was just to be new/different approach to bike tech, and probably used as a main selling point among a sea of BMXs in the 80s

Like anything,some some very gimmicky stuff appeared in the 80s,some good some bad,some worked,some were pointless!The fact that no one else employed this 3 brake setup would indicate to me it was rather pointless!!!
