Bob_Acid:
My first ns bike was a KHE dirty harry, nice bike that rode well. Gruff still has it.  :daumenhoch:

theRuler:
beaters are great frames
i think JD designed it in 96 or 97
then when JB went on KHE i think he tweaked it a little

niiiice bike

comedy wrapping, but the best way if the courier is reliable (IE wont get slung about by parcelforce monkeys)

winnit93:
av got her all cleaned up 2day,had a fly about on it.
shes got some real nice features and those gusset wheels look great!
shes on the heavy side, but i dont think that will be a problem for ramp ridin, and im shite anyway. :daumenhoch:

theRuler:
some lighter wheels would save you a bit of weight
maybe lighter pegs too

YGT:
I have worked freelance with khe for a good 8 years, and the issue of the bike you have was the 2000 model i believe which was tweaked at this period mostly by stefan geissler (and thomas göring - head of design at khe).
This is the last model before they switched over to the F-set system.

These bikes were definatly on the overbuilt side during this time period and I think the team bike at the time was weighing close to 18 or 19kg at that time and I had problems getting them shipped due to the weight.

Overall its a good bike if you are strong enough, the heaviest part on this model is the cranks ..... they were so heavy and not very reliable.
they were mostly put on at this time to allow the "look" of 3pc - and generally they woble and dont hold properly.

nice bike, but change the cranks when you can afford to and I am sure you will save a good 1kg
