NEW OXFORD SKATEPARK HELP WANTED
fuzzynod:
Ok guys I know a few of you have traveled to and ridden the current Skatepark in Oxford (DESPITE THE WEATHER!)The fact is that it was only ever supposed to be a stop gap when the project took it over.It was going to be knocked down back then due to the drugies and other undesirables hanging around etc.
I think you will agree that they have done a good job.
It has now come time to take the bull by the horns and find a permanent park.
Mon Barbour of SS20 who was a prime mover in the original project has taken up the cudgels with the Council and is starting to get somewhere.A site has become available and he needs support fom the bmx/skate community as a whole.
Please could you fill out the questionaire on his shop site and the council one it takes you too. http://www.ss20.com/
The more the merrier.
Thanks :daumenhoch:
