If I had a pound for everytime I have heard this line when racing this past 2 years then this bike would have paid for itself...

"You of all people should be racing a Burner!"

Well... I have taken the controversial step backwards in TT Length and this Winter Series I will be racing a 1984 Raleigh Team Aero Pro Burner. I don't think for one moment I am going to be able to match the success of Craig Schofield who won the 1985 World Championships on an Aero Pro but I am gonna do my bit and fly the Raleigh Flag... :cool:

I have had the bike for some time and it was going to be built up as a 'Show Bike' to factory spec... but the racing bug has bitten me hard and the thought of taking part riding a bike brand that I love and continually support was too much to resist... so here she is...

Oh and you don't wanna be leaving your bikes laid anywhere near me this winter.... just in case...

Nice rides, Dave. I'm not a big Raleigh fan but I've always liked the Aeros in team colours. Very classy looking bikes.

Race Kit is VERY close to being finished. just chatting it over with Mark (spike) at the moment.

I know i had trouble getting to grips with the different TT sizes but get some sessions on the go and you'll soo be used to it

also i know people above have already asked so are intitled to know before me but could i please know a price on the Amtrac when you decide to let it go
