Title: Visage Pro Freestyler
Post by: oldschoolace on July 08, 2016, 11:05 AM
Had this earmarked as a slow burner build with a full resto but thought i would try it out in its survivor state for Cleethorpes this weekend  :daumenhoch:

Turns out survivor builds are much harder to put together than full restos.
Found the tatty skyways in the back of the man cave and have not had chance to have a roll on them cos of the fabulous mancunian weather  ;D

Fingers crossed she stays together  :LolLolLolLol:

Nice bike, Clint!  :daumenhoch:
...sorry for me daring to ask this impertinent question  :-[ : Have you been in a hurry, or does that lever really belong there?

Just had a quick roll down the street and nearly broke my neck.
It seems survivor seats guts are to be avoided  :LolLolLolLol:

Eddie loved the stem and the nutcracker brake is now officially endorsed by the freestyle legend  :daumenhoch:

I love the lot surrounding the stem shaft just to compensate the unbelievable low lying clamping area of the stem

Apart from that:
A very eye catchy survivor! (http://simracing-deutschland.de/forum/images/smilies/srd_s/good3.gif)
Looks like a mixture out of a Redline RL-20 and a GT Pro Performer with build in chainstay standers.
But the brake lever makes me nervous...

I'm just glad you kept it white.   fistblump  I like that much better than the original paintjob.

I've got some proper rough stems, you should let me trade you for that beauty.
Seriously though please give me first option on the ACS Wedge if you ever sell

Great to finally meet you last week Clint. It's only taken 5 years! I really like this bike. Looks fantastic as a survivor build, and the curved tubing around the head tube is a nice touch. Always good to see something a bit different  :)
