You need a Silver BCF Membership to race at Lytham and the rest of the summer series.

DO NOT TURN UP WITHOUT A BCF SILVER MEMBERSHIP.    If you book online then print out your receipts etc, etc for proof   

RADBMX ID, Number Plate and Weapon of OS Destruction Please.   

REMEMBER!!!   OS Racing is all about fun and trying to stay on the bike.  So all you newbies out there who want to have a dabble then dont wait and dont worry.  We're a great bunch of lads.  Whatever physical condition your in or skills your lacking, you'll still be appreciated.  Its all about the CRAIC!!  :daumenhoch:

If any Midlands, Southern or Scottish OS Riders fancy a trip up/down to sunny Lytham then you'll be more than welcome but prepare for a good ass whupping!!   ;D

Full Face Helmet, Long pants and long sleeve jersey and Gloves are minimum requirements.   I suggest Shin/Kneepads and Elbow pads.  Body Armour wouldn't go a miss either!!  ;)

I'll start a Bob Field's Grands Riders Thread after MK10 and we'll try and get the numbers up.

I dont even know yet if I'll be attending as its too early and you never know what crops up.

Last year was excellent with a High Jump Comp, No clips race, Pump race and even pit bikes race.    The racing was excellent and even the weather was good.

Plus I am the defending Old Skool #1  :4_17_5:

Thank fook there was only the 2 of us racing!!!  :LolLolLolLol:

No offense to you crazy hopped up BMX fanatics but I'm watching the footie!!

I blame the yanks.   If they didn't win the group then we'd be playing on Saturday Night and not at 3pm on Sunday!!  >:(

I race Lytham twice a year and the World cup is every 4 years.   And the prospect of playing Germany and finally beating them in a penalty shoot out is too tempting to miss.

Plus I can get slaughtered on Saturday night too!!!

No one will be allowed on the track from around 11:30-12:00 till race starts.   Its variable.  It all depends on how long they take.

Gates will be on from around 9:30-10:00.

You can't take the list as final.

If Motomag Greg isn't going, niether is Glynnyboy, so thats 2 down,

but Diggler and Richie aren't on the list yet!!

It would be sad if there are only 9 riders as 1 will not make the final again :-\

In my 1st meeting last year I missed the registration andso they put me in with the novices.

If there is 8 or less riders then you'll have 4 motos and points will be awarded for all 4.   The chappie with the lowest overall score over the 4 motos (3 motos and final moto) will win.

Moto 4 (final) means fook all (apart from the overall points) so dont save yourself for the final.   You have to produce the goods in every race!!  :daumenhoch:

I ended up without a vehicle this morning, bike and gear in van ready to go, started the van and it started making a knocking sound and ive just had the fooker repaired. I stayed up after work aswell and bought my bloody license last minute. Gotta get some wheels sorted for tommorw for the coppull rollaround or else its a lift up from the missus again.

So I got there after all the practice and my first look at the track was my first moto. Great, close, racing again! I'm sure Mark WeavEEL was 4th with the 2 Andys and Phil after that in the A final.
Fun track with a proper surface that didn't look like the illegitimate offspring of a skatepark and trail jumps!

Most of my work is at the weekends so Its impossible to race and work and get some sleep but this week i bought my license/membership and the van lets me down. I have to start the van with ez start at the min cos of a fault on the ecu and ford changed the timing chain cos thats what they said the diagnostics said plus a few other sensors £400 later still focked it must be the pump... I borrowed a works focus and the power steering pissed all its fluid out saturday morning, I was going to preston to do gate practice... The pump is coming off tommorow and the ecu sent away for repair if they can otherwsie its a new pump. I work 60+ hours a week security and then have a kennels for the dogs I breed and sell, 100+ hrs a week working. Enough excuses...
I will try and get the sat/sun off next race, funds permitting.

Depends where OS is placed, some times we are 1st up other times after kids.....manchester we were just before them so a few races

oh totally understand - we'll have a few riders im sure, its just sad theres not more.... 3 years ago we were getting two gates at regionals... only 1 or 2 now so they dont bother... its just progression i'm afraid...

but im looking forward to blowing the dust off the ol' girl and giving her a run out.... ill so the Bob Fields on OS as well if there are enough of us...
