Title: Nomorea build... finally finished.
Post by: Vos on June 23, 2013, 02:19 PM
I've picked up my first new school frame...a Nomorea, #42, one of 25 20" frames made. This thing is insane. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, but I'm gonna try and do something a bit different.

Yep, the frame is incredibly light. I'm going to be using Landing Gear I think. They look right for a frame this thick. The decals pictured came with the frame.

...they were build to race.

I won't be racing mine though.  :P

Tomorrow I'll post my Bullseye Pro pedal cages to Badger to be re-anodised in red.  :slayer:

A bit more progress. I picked up a Zeronine Wildfire plate and my grips arrived. The seat is a Retro Kuwi that I'll swap out for the Cinelli once it arrives...

Jaan, ostentatious is a fine word to describe this build.  ;D

I pick my wheels up next week, but my cranks are back from Doug Taylor. They did a smashing job. I've applied the Bullseye decals, but I fooking hate them...they really detract from the lovely chrome...I think I'll end up removing them. Perhaps I'll get some cut in vinyl.

Thanks for the kind words guys.  :daumenhoch: I really love this bike. I'll get some pics of it without the plate once the brakes are on and I've got cable ties to put it back on. I'm thinking of putting DC1000s and Tech 3/4s on rather than new school brakes. What do you think?
