Still deciding on if i will use these, have a few blue bits laying around and am thinking i may slap them on the JMC.
Where do you stand on coloured spokes?
I dont mind coloured nips, but are the spokes over the top?
I can not remember many peeps racing bitd with coloures spokes, anyways dont hold back, tell me what you think?

Never been a massive fan of coloured spokes on old school bikes. I think that it is because when a wheel is all one colour it looks as though it was bought from Toys R Us and when people use different coloured spokes on the same wheel it looks like a clowns bike.
-
i think they look okay on NS bikes (as i have red on my rear) ohh er Mrs!
but for OS? Has to be stainless :daumenhoch:
-
I don't think it looks that bad at all. All of these builds are personal preference anyway if you're happy with it, go for it... :daumenhoch:

Yeh, i am in two minds, i am not a huge fan but fek this is a nice wheelset.......... :coolsmiley:

good point Matt.................i always believe it's best to do a build how you want to :daumenhoch:

gotta say i do like silver or chrome spokes on rims, looks a bit new school to me Ben, although saying that i'm doing some turquoise z rims with turquoise hubs and white spokes for a build i'm doing........

I agree with all the above comments, not right for the Patterson build and am undecided on the JMC, bloody nice wheelset (and i have another 4 or 5 wheelsets (stainless spokes) coming, gold 7x's on the patto me think!!
