Title: Hartlepool (Rnd 8) Video Footage and Final Results

All of the footage is now uploaded.

Footage was taken by Mike Page from Heywood BMX Track.    He went AWOL for 2 Moto races and also missed a few middle order Moto 3 races.   If you can't find any of the these races...........then they dont exist.

I was gonna start my fitness regime this week but after using Mr Nada for a mid-race curb endo and having to do an unrehearsed Starsky and hutch roll has fooked my shoulder up.   :'(

Simon, I'm not totally sure that I did pip you at the post.  It was very close but I think you got it.  :daumenhoch:

Can't change the results now, I had a similar call with Rooski at Preston but they said he got it :police:

It does'nt matter mate!!! Anyway slipping off my pedals just before the gate came down put me well behind from the start.....always get it wrong in the final :LolLolLolLol:

Results just checked em myself and even if Peter Bilt ( RAl) hadn't Tboned me ,, Diggler would've STILL beat me by four  points

thats even clutching at straws and saying what if  :D, Simon still waltzed it   :coolsmiley: .

 Winning 3 meets out of 6 he rode says it all . I think Diggles was THE only one to manage consistantly good results  :4_17_5:


Still can't believe Dan Dare's comeback results either , he's a Stalwart  :4_17_5:

Hopefully you'll be back to your best ASAP.

I contacted North Region to say that you got injured at Leeds and that you would've raced Hartlepool if fit.  So that you might get credit for Hartlepool and you should get a trophy.    It might be a good idea if you contact them too.   Tell them the situation about Manchester and the fact you went down but it got cancelled and then you couldn't make the next Sunday.   Tell em about Leeds and the injury etc, etc.   Hopefully they'll take your circumstances into consideration (and the long distances you have to travel) and let you have one. 

If anyone deserves a trophy, its you mate!!   :daumenhoch:

Don't forget to mention the Lytham cancellation too.  You still came down and supported the region by doing the Preston club meet instead!

Nice one!!

After trying to run down Mr Nada on sunday my shoulder took the full force of a supersonic pie laden fatty on impact.    It felt alright after the crash but by sunday night I was in a lot of pain.   Its starting to get better now.   Without my body armour,  I dont think I'd have been able to carry on racing.

My shoulder took the full force of an average-weight man on impact, and then 2 seconds later my right arse cheek took the full force of a supersonic pie laden fatty on a GT cruiser.


If it wasn't for the body armour I'm sure I'd have f00ked my shoulder/collar bone.  It's a shame I wasn't wearing arse armour though - it's still smarting now.

Good point - my seat is quite a hard plastic, perhaps I should go for a softer option.

Well in Dave. There's a few of us 6 footers on bikes that aren't that long. Maybe there's more to it all than toptube length???
