Title: first time in a skate park part 2
Post by: pistol on June 13, 2010, 03:02 PM
Alright buds,
Following on from last week, up again early this morning only to find it starting to rain, waited to see how heavy it was going to get ,it was only a drizzle so off i went.
Decided to try the second local park as i thought it better equip t for roll in's/pop outs.
On my second ariel i came off back tire slid out as it was getting slippy and the transition was a lot steeper  than the first park.
While hobbling around waiting for the pain in my ankle to subside i took a few pic's.
I did manage to pop out with one foot and roll in also one footed,it's along road back!
Some little kids turned up and rolled straight in were i was trying so it was time to go!
PS  the park is in whitley bay,northumberland.(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/ss78/peter1taylor/DSCF0849.jpg)(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/ss78/peter1taylor/DSCF0850.jpg)(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/ss78/peter1taylor/DSCF0852.jpg)(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/ss78/peter1taylor/DSCF0856.jpg)(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/ss78/peter1taylor/DSCF0860.jpg)(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/ss78/peter1taylor/DSCF0863.jpg)

Very nice looking park!  most of it doesn't look too bike friendly though, the trannys look very tight

I've riden it Glen, its fine for BMX - bowls good with a flatbank hip intergrated into it thats good fun.  Just pick a time when Schools are open, when we went it was rammed with loads of kids always ready to snake your runs, haha.

A little over a year, I rode it last summer when it opened up.  I plan to go back at some point - its about 1 hours drive for me.
