Title: Hi from Sussex
Post by: Gatters on June 03, 2011, 10:19 PM
Hi,

Just saying hi, new to the site/forum and looking for a restoration project as have re found my love for BMX again....if it ever goes away?

Really looking to restore a Haro freestyler as this is the bike I always wanted as a youngster but realise that these are hard to get.  Any advice or points in the right direction will be greatly recieved!

Anyway great site, great forum and some awsome rides/bikes, if anyone knows of a Sussex scene I'm interested.

Cheers

I suppose a Streetbeat is close to a Haro.  I did the same when I was looking for my Haro Master and purchased a streetbeat.  They are a lovely Bike

Beartrap 2 is my choice on a freestyle bike and an 880 front brake not a 901 :4_17_5:

Hi mate-I believe there IS a rather LARGE scene in sussex..................Hastings is a holy grail for BMX. Backyard/seventies/the source to name a couple of historic shops/dealers.

Apparently Hastings IS BMX central!

Enjoy!
