So the knurling looks chromed to me. Does this mean the rest of the bars are chrome underneath the paint too.

I asked this question before ages ago and someone said the cross bars were chromed before they were welded/brazed in.

gutted, if noone had answered i was just going to do one end of the bars so the grips wouldve covered it afterwards

they've not landed on the doorstep so sont know. the rise looks low from the pics, but with nothing to scale it too who knows, the the bits of wood on the table might be about an inch so that would make the rise roughly 8 inches
-
yeh might just be the image. the mini bars are very cool. look nice bars as they are though mate

I cansee whats going to happen though, Im going to use the redline bars on my current build, and have the orange bars sitting there and end up building a whole bike around the orange bars!!!!

About 5 weeks ago, I asked the same question but did not really get an answer. Shame as these new EZs are frickin lovely and, more importantly, they cost feck-all (£30ish). If only I could have done with some black or white bars, I would have been very happy.
In the end I ended up paying double (£70 I think) for some chrome ones off a list member. They are incredible and very happy with them. Just a shame if you want chrome you have to pay double!!
Let us know if you do strip them..
ta,
Paul

I wont be stripping the powder is brand new, would be a shame to ruin it. and as far as im aware these arent the repops
-
i think the ones in the pic are genuine 80's bars. not the replops
-
agree with paul these look like the mini bars. not quite as wide and a lower centre to them but rise similar to the full sized bars
for the other paul these are still 80's bars mate not the repop ones. these started from 1985 i believe :-\
nice bars and better than the full size ez II bars imo
-
so they are orange but still cool. i like it!!

yeah i can confirm that, i've painted loads of these bars and there only chromed up to the
welds :daumenhoch:
-
Theyve landed and they are very nice bars, they measure [roughly] 26.25 width by 7.25 rise. Which ones does this make them?
-
Just measured both of mine and they are 27.25 wide by 8.25 rise so yours could be mini bars
