F@@king gutted I am, sick of people putting stuff on eBay and ending it early. Wanted what GL to go with the prototype and was gonna pay well for it. :tickedoff:
-
it's happened to me recently too for a guitar I was after and I was well pissed off. I can understand why people do it though to an extent as I just sold a guitar on there for £700 and between ebay and paypal charges I lost £75!!!!
-
If you wanted it that badly - why didnt you try to get it ended early?
Alls fair in love and ebay :D

Does my head in too!! :tickedoff: Bit late now, but as above, if you want summat that bad always ask if they'll end it early. I collect period car accessories and vintage rammel and got p*ssed off with the same happening to me a few years back.

Happens more & more now... people see the auction and get straight on the phone "can I come see it" ... turn up with the reddies and make a deal... saves the fees etc...
You have to play the game as others are playing it... if I saw something I really wanted I'd be round with cash asap...
-
was it this one..

pretty early production number too!
didn't have Ladder bars so don't sweat it... you'll know for next time though eh!

Stella did it with the Mk1 Pro Burner that was on the Bay awhile back. I had a super sized bid lined up and he managed to buy it off auction.
Then put it back up on ebay and got £2400 for it or something.
That was a killer for alot of people
