I want to try and recreate this, if anyone has any pics, links etc. I dont know much about it but have the frameset and cranks if they were aerospeeds??
I think it was Mike Dominguez in 1985
cheers
here are pics of my survivor USA made futuristic black trickstar, this may start a debate but Im sure its original paint, Ive checked it all over
Im debating now whether to sell this or keep and try to build

just looks like it's been painted in black hammerite. ;D
-
I've always thought these were nice... Bet they're a rip off though

Here's Woodys ... http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/hutch/25686/1 ... nice spec! i've seen a pic of the factory one somewhere and it wasnt like this .. pretty sure they had opc's. They are 86 overseas frames too for sure. I have one :coolsmiley:
-
yep invasion tour`s were overseas frames . been meaning to get mine done for years but will do one day
-
they made some US ones, I have one, need to find Mike D spec
-
beat the frame with a ball pein hammer then spray it black............................ job done ;)
-
Paul, I had this JMC off JT a few years ago and from what I can tell this is a really close match to futuristic black. You'll have to pester JT to see if he can get the code from his powder man. Or maybe Dan can identify it from his charts? It is like a hammerite finish.
