You will be lucky to get panaracers for less than £100 a pair,

Pork chopz has repop comp ST in grey

alot of people are using Xposure Dave tyres

Haven't had any problems using the xposure Dave's, running them at 50-60 PSI on tuffs !!! not a lot of clearance on the back wheel though on the DP but they work OK  :daumenhoch:

v monsters are back, with tanwall

Just wrote a lengthy reply and lost it, so here's the short version:

1 - I hope Pete's right and not just imagining things as V-monsters are the fooking daddy and I love them
2 - the issue with Jim's tyres was a manufacturing fault and they've replaced the faulty batch, so you can thrash away on them.

I use the Chas and Dave combo as the Chas is a monster and grips really well on the front wheel edge for dropping in - here they are on my ramp machine, but after free-falling down the jump-box the wrong way at the Boardroom on Saturday night I've had to put another link in my chain and move the wheel back to avoid rubbing any more paint off the rear stays as they were running too close with 65psi in them - oh well, I now have even more missing paint on my Badasslander to go with the scratches from crashing and dropping it....... :idiot2:

Show bike - my arse  :LolLolLolLol:

Good skills Terry but my pc just crashed while trying to order a set.......

Oh, just got through now and it's not free delivery until you get to £100 so it's gonna be about twice the price of a set of Exposure Dave's to get them to your doormat

Still a fooking great price though - I paid that kinda doh-ray-me from the USA a year or two ago when I bought mine :coolsmiley:

EDIT - mmm, Stodgy has the fatties coming eh Ed. I think i'll give him a call...... :smitten:

Title: Re: tyres
Post by: Stodgy on October 12, 2011, 12:39 PM

LOL - trade prices on all Primo Tyres have gone up this drop, but Seventies (the distributor) haven't told anyone unless, like me, you ask.

Which means selling them at £15.99 and £16.99 they are losing money!

I suspect when the invoices from Seventies drop at the different stores they will soon realise and adjust their prices acordingly.

I'm not in business to rip anyone off, I am just asking the RRP for the tyres.

We always price match any deal also - but alas I won't be price matching something when I would lose money, that just doesn't make sense.

If anyone would like confirmation of the RRP/SRP then please speak to Seventies, who will be happy to help and to put your minds at rest.

Title: Re: tyres
Post by: Stodgy on October 12, 2011, 01:05 PM

Hold on! Just checked and Custom Riders are selling at £22.99! (RRP £24.99).

It's only the black ones at the cheaper price - which ours are the same price. But acording to Seventies these will be going up too as soon as the new batch arrives.

So why the feck am I getting such a hard time!?

Can I send some big love round to unckle Dave please lads - looks like the other shops have fooked up and he was right all along, so let's all see if our tyres arrive or not or if we get some bullsh*t sob story..... :-\

Fingers crossed, but they were advertised in stock and the payments accepted, so they'd better honour the orders :knuppel2:
