Fantastic rides Jay! loved that Mike dominguez model.
very well deserved 1st, 2nd & 3rd
-
any pic's.

Very nice bikes. In fact there were so many nice bikes on show. I think everyone deserved a prize for making probably the best show and shine so far. It was great for everyone to actually be able to see a lot of the bikes we own and that usually remain stuffed into rooms or boxes somewhere out of sight. :)

yea i agree guys they were well deserved 1. 2. 3 its was funny that all 3 judges came in with so similar results it was scary, it was easy to judge and my input was minimal , it was a great show and shine and even better that the judgeing was by the people for the people.
wicked rides the number 1 winner in freestyle was a fantastic build
Citizen Rich :)

dents as deep as golf balls!

Thanks guys , I've been collecting for 6 years now and thought it was time to get some bikes out and about and built .Thanks for all the great comments on the bikes on the day.I didn't expect to come home with 3 trophies, which made it all the more worth while .Anyway it was great to see all those bikes together and in my opinion it should be well done to everyone for making the effort to bring all those bikes which made for a great day and a pat on the back for the organisers for a class event .

-
Love the Dominguez sport, nice build.
-
Sorry to piss on your chips Jay but arent those the wrong cranks on the performer??????????
-
I said that too Dave, I`m sure that he had Redline flights at Kelloggs, but as Jay explained its a copy of the one in the pics from KOS at Pipeline and he does have 1 piece cranks on that bike. :o
-
Just had another look at that pic and its not Pipeline, but it is one of the KOS series. ;)
-
Hahaha I know Billy, I did notice those KOS pics and asumed that was Jays reason for using the one piece. I was just trying to get him to bite.....eek bit naughty I know. But really Jay the bikes all look fkn great. The Gt really takes me back.
-
Actually Billy, I know its not in the pipe bowl but that pic of Fiola could still be at piplene. Didnt that place have other pools?? If you look just under Fiolas right arm is that not the end of the pipe sticking out?? Anyone confirm this......dont think its Del-mar is it.
-
Well, when I got that bike originally, it came EXACTLY as Jay has it now.
Only i killed it!
Fiola did like his one piece cranks...

hahaha nice one Fiola ahead of his time...........Backflip???
-
I`ve got a bad copy of the 84 KOS on dvd Dave, and although the final was at Pipeline the series was all over, if I could be bothered I`d have a look, but Del Mar sounds good to me ;)
-
Dave ;D LOL
-
The pic of Fiola is the Combi Pool at The Pipeline Upland, its right next to the bowl that everyone is more familiar with. It had a huge amount of vert on it.
-
I thought Fiola had Hutch cranks on that yellow perfromer, he certainly had Hutch cranks on on of his yellow performers.
-
yeah good call Radders, I remember now you've mentioned it (combi pool) Fk how big was that sk8 park. Also I remember seeing a pic of fiola with Hutch cranks too. Hahahaha how shite is my memory it takes someone else to jog it every time......Errr what do they call it when old people become like that ?????
-
Waow, those bikes are the f'n biz man, well done, thoroughly deserved! And those pics of Fiola really take me back, sure i remember them or similar from my 'BMX Bi-Weekly' days, speakin of which, has anyone got a copy of the issue with the photoshoot of Fiola and his mobile Quarterpipe/Truck thing?
P.S. I got here finally Dave (Young)!
