Mornin all,
I saw these on Ebay US with the description of 'NOS grey but might be light lavender'dated May 85, so i asked the seller nicely if he would ship to the UK & he said yes :).
It turned out i was the only one who bid on them, & the parcelforce guy dropped these off on friday morn

I was over the moon as they turned out to be lavender :smitten:, just what i needed to finish of my build(winning bid on $88 ;))
Here's a pick of the bike before

I am over the moon with the end result 8), the final tweeks have been adding the panaracer freestyle tyre's, lavender DC cables(86), Sharp lavender brake cover's(big thanks to radmember crossdave :daumenhoch:),NOS lavender tioga chainring bolts, custom painted Victor pedals/sr stem & lastly the NOS lavender ACS Z mags :coolsmiley:
I think the Reflex is best described as the 'Marmite' of old school freestyle BMX......you either love em or hate em :D
Overall all i am well stoked with the end result of this build :Great_Britain: :smitten: :smitten:, i think i like it more than my three Haro's ^"^

There's a guy on US Ebay at the mo selling a set of NOS lavender, he originally had them up for 800 bucks starting bid :wtf:
He's now dropped them down to 250 bucks BIN or make an offer. Makes my deal seem even sweeter :)
-
Thanks for all the really nice comments chaps :daumenhoch:
Seem's there's a fair bit of luv out there for the humble Reflex :smitten:, Question now guy's is.......is it good enough to put in the next 'bike of the month' ?? Bit of a daunting prospect as the quality of all the builds on here are top drawer :coolsmiley:

Cheer's matey :daumenhoch:, i usually find with US seller's that state 'US shipping only' that if you email them with a polite message along the lines of...... you really need the part to finish off a build & that you'll pay all shipping/insurance costs , then nearly 75% will say yes :daumenhoch:

Thank's bud ;), i hav'nt made any definite plans as of yet with the purple tuff's. The front was a NOS (80's) lavender tuff with serial no. on rim & the back is an alloy hubbed that was a very faded lavender. Looking back i should never had dyed them :uglystupid2:, i was new to the resto scene & fooked up(didnt think they'd end up so dark :idiot2:) & i imported these from the States in separate ebay auctions. If i'd have known about aqua-blasting 18months ago i could've had some original 80's lavender tuffs now :smitten:......rare as rocking horse poo!!
I will more than likely dye em black, what was you wondering then?
