Thinking of buying a frame set but not sure how much it is really worth it may need rechroming it is always hard to say until you see it in the flesh

£550? Got any pics to see its condition?
-
I would say anything between £400-£600. From a rough one to a mint one. :daumenhoch:

Thanks for your posts
Sorry no pics
The frame chrome and decals look very good the forks need a rechrome, the biggest problem is that the seatpost is stuck in the frame

Go easy with the seatpost so you dont snap it. Have you soaked it over night? Or tried to fit a handlebar stem to it and twist?
I had a stuck fast post and my mate drilled a hole in it (last resort as yours maybe a good post) then used rachet straps round a tree to pull it out LOL
Even put the post in a vice and twist the frame, make sure the post is moving and not twisting or it will break off.
Bike sounds a great project tho :daumenhoch:

That is the one
I am concerned about the post but have removed one by drilling the post and inserting a bolt and using a bracket to twist it out

Mike, good luck with it, hope the post comes out OK, be patient, personally i wouldn't rechrome the frame if it can be helped, its in beautiful condition.
