Were the first forks just gt pro forks,or the the Bottema style?? info and pics would be a help? ive been offered 87' forks but dont know if these differ much or at all from earlier ones? GT experts needed!! :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:

Here's my 84 Us made pro performer, with its original forks, does that help :P

No there's no cable guides. I don't think they appeared till 85, but I could be wrong on that one ;)

87 performer forks will not be chromoly as 87 the frame and forks changed shape on the pro performer and the single bend downtube frame became bottom of the range and non 4130 and made in taiwan :daumenhoch:
