Can anyone tell me what the quality is like on the new repro DC's compared to the origonals from BITD?
-
Just one word springs to mind buddy 'sh!te', compared to the old versions. But, for a cheap budget rider, they do do the job. I prefer the re-issue DC Nippons though :daumenhoch:

Hmm, might have to reconsider my options then.

Just bought some origonal DC 880 and 890 calipers from some guy in the states on BMXmuseum.
Need a bit of resto but they have potential.
Only $40 delivered too, hope i don't get stung for too much import tax. :)

The repop's aren't great.
Difference's : Weird new adjuster. MX painted bit not recessed. Dia Compe decal is different. Calipers a bit flimsy.
Good news, £20 not £100.
Can anyone give me any tips on buying from the BMXmuso? No one seems to respond, is that because I'm new on that site? :P
Most of the members american? Delivery issues?

Think i'll be glad i got some genuine origonal DC's then by the sound of it.
I was a new member on BMXmuseum with no posts and had heard people say they mostly don't ship outside the US.
I just happened to see the calipers and sent the guy a PM, he responded with a price and i sent him the money by PayPal.
Result. :)
