Yes i think so. They have an eccentric pedal boss so the position of the pedal can be varied lengths from the bb spindle. Weirdness.

an awesome ideal which never worked in practice,  big stupid nut on the back always came loose...

but yes they are DX cranks....    ;)

If i snaffle it i will pencil you in for the holeshot.... if it is a holeshot.

Nice cranks they are!

I remeber about 5 years ago i got a complete team issue chrome (only ever seen one other) set inc BB for 50 off ebay, nobody else bid.....  ^"^

That bike looks like it might be stock to me.
I think it's a Tange made frame as well 8) :daumenhoch:
Shimano also made a two speed set up.

Even better ... looks like its an early 1980 model as the gusset is different to the yamaha byz gusset on the 81'  on models  :4_17_5:

Sent the guy a low-ish offer as a starter, lets see what he says  :-\

Quietly hoping for a score here as the ad only mentions the araya rims and brakes with no mention of the cranks  ;)

Old school BMX is valuable to collectors - t'internet's worst kept secret.   :D

DannyD is Europe's top bagger of bargains.  I think he stumbles across his treasures when he is driving through remote places where people aren't too clued-up and think the old bike in their shed is just junk with no real value.   :daumenhoch:

Pretty hard to find a real bargain online when everybody and their granny are on the lookout themselves. 

Maybe someone on here might have rendered your deal KAPutt?   :LolLolLolLol:
