Hi All
Just bought a mongoose decade and was wondering if someone can help identify the year-stamped on the bottom bracket is M8 - J5313
Many thanks
Jamie

Not sure on the serials but I know the later one's had an angled front standing platform rather than a rounded one
-
Okay, think mine is a rounded one??(http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/04/11/7yjujeve.jpg)

Is that Danny Rose's old one? 88 i think :daumenhoch:

Hiya, yep it is. '88's cool by me!!

Ya bugger ;D
I just missed out on buying that :yahoo_silent:
What plans you got for it?
-
Not sure yet as not had a proper look, but liking the idea of just putting it back together survivor style!!

I'll be watching this build Jamie. I'm hopefully getting my complete '87 (I think) Decade today in the same colour. Mine has the rounded tubes at the front of the platform. I'll be keeping mine as a Survivor too. I messaged danny about that one too. Bent seat post is a shame :-\ There's a few decade builds on the go at the moment 8)

does it have the 6 spoked Tuffs? ???
-
From the pics i saw of Jamie's bike, Yes it does.

Finally got round to taking some pics! Only put together finger tight for now. Probably gonna leave it survivor style(http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/04/29/ebesuqyd.jpg)(http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/04/29/eqarape9.jpg)

That looks great Jamie. I'm a fan of mine. Defo leave it as a survivor. Cillit bang with bleach works well on the wheels. Good luck setting up that Spin Tech, you need 4 hands!

looks ace!
