Chrome jobs range from approx £70 - £250 . It depends how much you personally value the bike & if you're going to ride it or not ?. For instance I would go high end on a possible show bike but around £100 - £150 on anything else , I personally would'nt go real cheap .

You get what you pay for  :daumenhoch:

They only came as f/f bitd, unless a shop built one up, so you can put what parts you like on it  :daumenhoch:

Looks like Redline Flight 401 cranks & chainwheel. Graphite Skyway Tuffs, Haro Vector bars, Diacompe MX 1000 brakes, can't see if they are Tech 3 or 4 levers, Shotgun II Seat (?) and some kind of Rat Trap pedals. Got a spare grand lying around ? LOL

Yeah I think they are Tech 3's & yep, your going to need big money for the rest of those parts, def for the Tuff's & Flight's.
But that would be a top build  :daumenhoch:

mx brakes. but all needs renewing

Also not forgeting the grips (grab on's) if memory serves me correct someone paid a £100 - £130 for a set not so long back.

Your gonna need patience and a good bank manager if you want top spec but it would be a special build.

Good luck with it,it will  :4_17_5: once it's finished.

You do don't need Graphite Tuffs to make a Gen1 look proper IMO  :)

Dia-compe calipers MX900 or 1000'S by the look of it there worth keeping hold of if there in good enough nick and same for the Suntour Seatclamp.

From bodamus :)

Like above but the other stuff you could sell or trade for sure.

Re: graphites - the more available alloy hubbed skyways probably a better/cheaper option and they still look great IMO.
