That is stunning :) Looks right in every way. Are the sticker sets for these hard to get? I would love to do a 87/88 Haro after i have done my GT and have been watching what price things go for, I have not seen any sticker sets yet though so i am guessing they are rare :(
They are Tioga Pool tyres Priv.

Thanks for the comments boys....I built this one as a rider and ride it hard I shall! NYsoul...you can get the stickers from another member here. His name is Sean, sorry I don't know his username but hopefully he will chime in, he should be able to get them for you in most combinations.....the stickers are bloody beautiful........ :daumenhoch:

I do like that a lot, but whats the deal with these late 80's sports, I saw this one on ebay & it says 88.5 but it does not have brank lugs welded on it
(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/b366/claire169/Harosport88.jpg)
& this one is an 87 & it does... ???
-
In 88 only the team sports had AD lugs. The standard complete sport had bulldog brakes from and rear. (check out the '88 catalogue http://www.ajkbikes.com/downloads/catalogs/catalogs.htm )
I guess the frames available at the start of the year were from the batch made to create the team bikes and the frames available later in the year, the 88.5's were from the standard.
However there's another tale going round that they didn't make enough Sport frames that year and when time came for a new batch, they knew the '89 bike's wouldn't have AD lugs, so they saved on the expense.
Eighteen years later though, who can be sure? :)

Hi, I can't answer your question but I purchased that exact frame (and box) and is now with me here in Oz
So I am using this thread to help decide how to build it, I basically need everything ;D
