Title: More of my photos Mason Smith?

I had a quick opportunity to search for more of my 80s BMX photos on Saturday. I was hoping to locate my stash of Kellogs competition photos from 1985 but what I did find was some that I suspect include Mason Smith? I knew him a little bit back then as he was local, bought my bike from his Custom Riders shop which I believe is still going.

If memory serves this was a display he organised in 1986 possibly in Stevenage.

More top pics! yep, definitely looks like Mason...he is a top lad, funnily enough I was talking to him in the summer at a little skate jam which had been organised in....Stevenage, I was building the ramp and he turned up to ride....still kills it!. Custom riders still going strong too, although it's a bit bigger than the old shop in Hitchin!!  :daumenhoch:

I can't say Mason was a close friend but he would recognise me when I came to the shop. I used to live in Letchworth so Hitchin and Stevenage were stomping grounds for me. I remember seeing Mason on BMX Beat I think, and was a bit star struck when I realised he had a shop locally. Bought a dp freestyler from him but being rather large I was only ever any good at ground tricks, no good on the ramps.

Glad to hear he's still riding.

More pics when I can get hold of them over Christmas.

As I grew up in Stevenage I don't think these pictures are taken there, I think it's in the car park of the swimming pool in Letworth/Baldock.  Right near where the shop is now actually
