Didn't change any spokes as wanted to keep it as og as possible ............cheers :daumenhoch:
-
Very nice never seen one before :daumenhoch:
-
Super cool :4_17_5:
I have an '87 frame set and bars, plus some smalls, that I am in between re-doing. It came to me stripped, sadly, so I couldn't keep it original.
-
Lovely job, lovely bike...I love the trick features on the frame...the cable guides etc :daumenhoch:
-
Nice build, alays liked these. :daumenhoch:
Are the old white tyres available? :)
-
Cheers guys , makes a nice change to have something og in the collection , nice an real .

Unfortunately the tires a pretty bold and the tubes showing through , otherwise they would have been on . Still have
them though

Just perfect
-
That's really cool :daumenhoch: looks superb and lets face it anything looks better than one of those Santa Cruise things ;)
-
I really like that :4_17_5: and especially the way you've built it as a survivor :daumenhoch:
-
Very nice. Never seen one of these before. Great work :4_17_5:
-
I have one of these coming over to me. Not all original like yours. Great job on the sympathetic resto.
From what I've read they only made 500 of these, not many around now.
-
That's a funky machine, og and rideable. :daumenhoch:
-
very nice bike mate 8)
nice to see it's 90% survivour
always liked those DB's
-
Don't often come over to the freestyle section but my interest was piqued by seeing one of these in Tokyo last weekend, so had to have a closer look at yours! :daumenhoch: I love a survivor build and this one's great, plus it looks like a roomy rider to boot. It also shares the same Tioga disc as I've now got on my Free Agent, which first came to me on a Haro Group 1. I wasn't sure when they were made but see that it was factory-spec on these, so I guess that makes it mid/late-80s-ish.
Btw, where's the seaside backdrop?
-
Cheers guys yeah really glad to have this one in the collection it's a cool looking ride . Not too many kicking around these days . Also had to change the seat post as it didn't come with one so used a period correct drain pipe thought it looked right for the build.
The beach , around 50 km south of Perth WA
-
Very nice. I have an 88 Mike Dominguez frame :daumenhoch:
-
very nice , love the rear end on them
-
Liking that. Love the quirky back end .
Great to see you keeping it as original as possible explosion
-
My 88 MD before it was stripped...
-
The MD has no coaster tab as he didn't ride one ....nor spikes on the rear standers. Full 4130 :)
-
Real nice that Steve, great back drop too; can't beat a sunny day in WA!
Would look much better with a layback post rather than the snake post (is that what they are called?) but still look good all the same!
